Business Unit
The Business Unit is responsible for Renaissance Club’s administrative functions. Daily attendance sheets, meal tickets, accounting reports, statistical reporting, staff payroll sheets, staffing calendars, minutes from Clubhouse meetings, and all forms required by administration, are generated in the Business Unit. Furthermore, the unit oversees the ordering of office supplies for the entire Clubhouse, postal and bank runs, faxing, typing, copying, filing, and note taking.
Whether corresponding by email, snail mail, or through the Clubhouse newsletter, the Business Unit is committed to keeping the lines of communication clear. Members of this unit maintain Internet access, perform antivirus security checks on a regular basis, and troubleshoot computer issues throughout the Clubhouse. Letters of request and appreciation are composed, signed, and sent from Business Unit. And, although any member in the Clubhouse may write, edit, type, and submit articles for the monthly newsletter, the actual production of “Spirit of Renaissance” is completed in the Business Unit. Every aspect of publishing, from graphics and text layout to printing, sorting, and distribution, is completed within the environs of this unit.
